He does not have to stop his charity work. This is the ONLY fact. Others may try to complicate this matter but it is simple. This is a good organization, which (for a decade) has been raising money for a wonderful cause.
Legally, the President- elect’s son DOES NOT have to stop
this work! The thing about Eric Trump, is that he is the "real deal".
He is truly
passionate about this work. This is not just another, “Celebrity Charity”, set up to enrich
the stars. Celebrities set up charities all the time, to get their name in the media.
This is not the case with Eric Trump
The Real Eric Trump: Giving to Sick Children
In a very exclusive interview way back in 2014, long before
Donald Trump was considering running for President; Eric spoke of helping
sick children.
“We’re incredibly blessed with everything that we have in life,” Donald Trump’s son Eric exclusively told Ok Magazine “There are a lot of people out there who don’t have that same luxury.
And Speaking of the sick children, Eric stated:
“They are six months old, they are battling things like leukemia and all these awful brain tumors. To know that you could help them, they make a big difference with the backbone of an organization like ours behind it.”
Unlike other charities, where the money gets “lost” among many benefactors, Eric Trump’s charity benefits St. Jude’s “ONLY”.
This makes for easy accountability; this charity should be commended!
There is NO CONFLICT OF INTEREST
This issue is not complicated at all, but the media AND lawyers, will try to make it very complicated. It is a way to attack Donald Trump indirectly. Even Donald Trump's lawyer's may want to make it sound complicated. It is not.
Sometimes a simple matter is made to look complicated. This is done on purpose, often lawyers do this to get more MONEY.
Eric Trump is not a member of the Donald Trump cabinet and does not have to stop his charitable works...PERIOD.
Trump opponents and hot shot lawyers, will want to complicated this issue so they can get paid more money!
This is only an issue because it is “Donald Trump” who won the election. There is no way Chelsea Clinton (Hillary’s daughter) ,would have been asked to stop her charity work (had Hillary Clinton won the election).
I believe Chelsea and Eric are both doing honest charitable work, which has nothing to do with their parent’s political position.
